Hi! I’m Tracy
I spent over 20 years working in Corporate HR while living abroad. Feeling disconnection during this time, I began volunteering in hospice care—a decision that changed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
Supporting people at the end of their lives brought me profound fulfillment and inspired me to leave the corporate world to train as an end-of-life doula. By 2025, I was back in Australia, where I started Butterfly Wings.
I believe everyone deserves compassion, dignity, and connection during their final moments. It’s a privilege to be invited on your journey and to help create an experience that respect what matters most to you

My Favorite Quote!
“Life is amazing. And then it’s awful.
And then it’s amazing again.
And in between the amazing and awful it’s ordinary and mundane and routine.
Breathe in the amazing,
hold on through the awful,
and relax and exhale during the ordinary.
That’s just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life.
And it’s breathtakingly beautiful.”

how I got Here
Why I Love What I Do
There’s something profoundly humbling about being invited to walk alongside someone during one of the most intimate moments of their life. Each person’s story, their unique experience, and their wishes remind me of how beautiful and fragile life is. It’s an honor to be there, creating a space where they feel seen, respected, and cared for. Being part of this work fulfills me in ways I never imagined, and I feel privileged to dedicate myself to it every day.
What I love most about being a doula is the connection. Sitting with someone, holding their hand, or simply listening to their stories offers a kind of bond that is rare and deeply meaningful. Moments like these bring in to focus the true strength and resilience that people carry, even in the face of loss. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help them feel supported and to guide them through this chapter with compassion and respect. Being a doula fulfills me in ways I never imagined.
